Day 5: Half-Dressed Man And Others Persist With #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria Protest In Lagos
#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters resumed at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, Ojota, on Monday to continue their demonstration.
Ireporteronline reports that the protesters expressed dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu’s national address on Sunday and “consider it rather unfortunate” that it took Tinubu three days of protest to address the country.
Videos circulating on social media of the fifth day of the protest at Ojota showed a man half-dressed among the protesters chanting in Yoruba, “We are angry, we are hungry.”
JuwonSanyaolu, tweeting as #AyowoleSanyaolu, wrote, “Protest has started in Ojota; if you are still home, you are wrong!”
The nationwide #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest highlights the frustration among Nigerians concerning national issues.
