Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, September 11, 2026
The Nigerian naira recorded a slight gain against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday.
According to Ireporter Online, data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the naira traded at ₦1,328.2154 to the dollar on Thursday.
The latest figure represents a modest improvement from the ₦1,329.2129 recorded against the dollar on Wednesday.
The development indicates a slight strengthening of the local currency at the official market, although the naira continues to face pressure from demand for foreign exchange.
At the parallel market, commonly known as the black market, the naira was reported to have closed at ₦1,390 to the dollar on Tuesday.
However, actual exchange rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change (BDC) operators and other foreign exchange dealers may vary from the official reference rate.
Such differences are often influenced by transaction margins, market demand and supply, as well as the availability of foreign exchange.
Market participants are expected to continue monitoring foreign exchange inflows, dollar demand and policy decisions by the CBN for indications of whether the naira can maintain its recent performance against the dollar.
