Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, September 21, 2026

The Nigerian naira recorded a marginal change against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Sunday, September 20, 2026, according to data attributed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The currency reportedly traded at ₦1,331.2027 per dollar at the official market, compared with ₦1,331.2812 recorded on Saturday.

At the parallel market, commonly known as the black market, the naira reportedly closed at ₦1,395 to the dollar on Sunday.

However, exchange rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change (BDC) operators and other foreign exchange dealers may vary from the official reference rate due to transaction margins, market liquidity and prevailing demand and supply conditions.

Market participants are expected to continue monitoring foreign exchange inflows, dollar demand and monetary policy decisions by the CBN for indications of the naira’s performance in the coming days.
