It is no news that Edo State, under the leadership of the ineffective administration of Godwin Obaseki, has failed to prioritize road developments in the past 8 years he has occupied the office of CSO of the State.

In the past few days, the internet has been flooded with images and videos of the terrible condition of roads across Edo State, especially in the Central region where neglect echoes the loudest due to the inability of the sitting government to deliver on its promises made during past election cycles. What has shocked residents of the State the most is that their Governor continues to play politics with these deplorable roads.

The good people of Edo are chanting in one voice, “Our mumu don do” and have made the final decision to throw their weight behind Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata and the Labour Party. This simply means Edolites are fully ready for the best hands to take charge of the affairs of the state for the betterment of the present and future generations.
