Edo APC Chieftain Fires Back At Amosun Over Attack On Adams Oshiomhole

Without mincing words, Senator Ibikunle Amosun is one of the deadly and cancerous viruses that the Senator Adams Oshiomhole-led NWC had to fight and boot out of the APC body polity. You and your likes were the dangers that APC had to confront during Oshiomhole’s tenure as National Chairman.

Nigerians will recall how you constituted yourself into a cabal within and outside the villa, plotting against the party after your unpopular and weak candidate lost the primaries. You plotted the downfall of the party in your state by sponsoring your candidate to fly another party’s flag during the 2019 election, but you failed woefully. 

You were one of the evil politicians that connived, plotted, and deceived former President Mohammadu Buhari to preside over an illegally constituted NEC to dissolve the NWC in the summer of the year 2020. The patriotic spirit and loyalty of our leader Adams Oshiomhole restrained members of the then NWC from seeking redress in a court of competent jurisdiction. 

Available records shows that the Adams Oshiomhole-led NWC as National Chairman remains the platinum era of the party since it was formed winning several states for the party and defeating incumbent senators in opposition parties and getting majority for the APC at all levels. Yourself and Senator Saraki won’t forget Oshiomhole for a long time. He was your albatross, he neutralized your anti-democratic credentials, insisted on party supremacy and today APC is still standing tall thanks to the principled position he took then. 

We won’t also forget in a hurry how you connived with the Judas Iscariots in Edo state to get a black market injunction to illegally remove our leader as the National Chairman of the party albeit clandestinely because of his perceived closeness to now President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu but the ways of men are not the ways of God, today, Tinubu is not just Mr President and C-In-C of Federal Republic of Nigeria , Oshiomhole is a Distinguished Senator, where are you now? 

While we don’t want to glorify you with a dignified response, we challenge you to a debate over your own educational qualifications and credentials. You lack the moral and social rights to speak on another person’s educational qualifications when the public knows your antecedent. Senator Adams Oshiomhole remains one of the most cerebral public figures in Nigeria’s contemporary history with a deep understanding of development economics, law, human development, human rights and politics. What are you known for outside been a former governor or Senator? The quality of a human is not in how many certificates he displays in his library but the impact he makes in the overall development of humanity. 

No matter how you try hard to twist the events leading up to the 2019 elections, Oshiomhole’s place in the political history of the APC and Nigeria in general is reserved and written in platinum.
