Edo: Hon Henry Asemota’s Movement Into PDP Excites Party Members

PDP members in Edo State have hailed the massive support that greeted Hon Amb Henry Osaro Asemota’s movement into the party describing it as deserving.

Speaking on Tuesday in Benin City a prominent PDP stalwart, Eng Osaro Idemudia from Ovia described Hon Asemota’s coming into the PDP as the dawn of a new era for the party.

“We are happy to receive Hon Osaro Asemota JP to the PDP so that we can join hands together in uplifting the state.

We are very delighted to see how the PDP leaders and members have received you since your joining our party, this has demonstrated that you are truly a grassroots politician.

Your joining our party would no doubt swell our ranks and widen our reach, we shall give you all the support you need”

The former APC top party chieftain and Edo State Football Association Chairman,  Amb Hon Osaro Asemota on Saturday officially joined the PDP  at the Party’s ward 4 secretariat.

Former House of Rep Member, Hon Omosede Igbinedion and PDP leader in the State, Hon Ekhator Peter Osarobo the PDP ward 4 Chairman, the Edo State Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Hon Monday Osagbovo and other leaders of the party in the state were at hand to receive Hon Asemota into the PDP when he officially declared for the party over the weekend.
