Edo Residents Share Views On Dennis Idahosa’s Potential To Deliver As Governor If Elected
As the political landscape in Edo State takes shape for the forthcoming gubernatorial election, residents from various Senatorial Districts have voiced their opinions on the potential of Dennis Idahosa, the current lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, if elected as the governor. Across the state, individuals have provided their insights into Idahosa’s track record and capabilities.
In Edo South Senatorial District, Mrs. Jane Obaseki, a business owner from Benin City, expressed her admiration for Dennis Idahosa’s commitment to community development. “His efforts in initiating youth empowerment programs and infrastructural development in his constituency are commendable. If given the opportunity, I believe he can replicate this on a larger scale as the governor,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, in Edo Central Senatorial District, Mr. David Ojo, a civil servant from Ovia South West, highlighted Idahosa’s legislative achievements. “As our representative in the National Assembly, Dennis has shown dedication to his constituents. He has been active in advocating for educational reforms and has consistently addressed pertinent issues affecting our community. I believe he possesses the leadership qualities needed to govern the state effectively,” Ojo stated.
In Edo North Senatorial District, Mrs. Aisha Mohammed, a teacher from Auchi, emphasized Idahosa’s proactive approach to addressing societal challenges. “His initiatives in improving healthcare facilities and supporting agriculture have positively impacted his constituents. We need someone like him who understands the needs of the people and can translate that understanding into action,” she affirmed.
Across all three districts, residents echoed sentiments of trust in Idahosa’s ability to deliver, citing his proactive engagement, commitment to grassroots development, and advocacy for key issues affecting their communities. They unanimously expressed confidence in his potential to perform effectively if entrusted with the governorship position in Edo State.
