El Rufai’s Expository Of Peter Obi As A Dictator And Despot Sets The Internet On Fire
As an Executive Governor, the much-discussed Peter Obi has openly displayed dictatorial tendencies as seen by his frequent disputes with teachers, doctors, and other professionals. We were unaware of Obi’s other side, which depicted him as a despotic civilian leader.
If you recall, Dan Nwanyanwu, the first National Chairman of the Labour Party, accused Peter Obi of destroying Labour Party billboards and other campaign facilities while he was the governor of Anambra State.
Now, El Rufai accuses him of placing him under house arrest for 48 hours. I mean, this is truly a despotic act that can only be carried out under Military Gestapo rule.
Here is a brief excerpt of the governor of Kaduna State’s remarks before we continue., “I went to Anambra state for my party to monitor the election, Peter Obi who was a Governor put me under house arrest for 48 hours.”
It has been established that Peter Obi has been involved in serial cases of assault of oppositional personalities when he was the executive governor of Anambra State .
If a civilian governor can impose such awful restrictions, it is highly likely that as president, the opposition will suffer greatly.
Currently in some quarters Buhari is mocked in public and even called “Jubril of Sudan,” which is another way of saying “Buhari is a BASTARD.” Can you imagine calling the President a clone?
Despite this, no one has been arrested or placed under house arrest, nor have schools been closed.
Anyway, the internet has pounced on Peter Obi, with some wondering what motivates him to behave like an emperor and others wondering why he lacks tolerance.
So, what are your thoughts on the former Anambra State Governor’s excessive executive decision?
