“You have made us very proud within the international community,” Akpabio said to Davido, who was accompanied by his cousins, Tunji Adeleke and Folasade Adeleke, among others.

The Senate President emphasized the government’s support for the entertainment industry and encouraged Davido to maintain high ethical standards and resist negative influences. Akpabio assured Davido that the Senate would continue to support talents and the entertainment sector.

Davido shared his philanthropic efforts through his foundation, which supports orphanages, and announced his upcoming album set for release in June or July.
