The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, made the appeal on Wednesday, emphasizing the programme’s role in fostering innovation and leadership within the health sector.

The one-year fellowship, open to Nigerians aged 25-35, aims to nurture a new generation of health professionals and leaders across disciplines such as health, information technology, and social sciences.

Professor Pate highlighted that the initiative, spearheaded by the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative SWAp Coordination Office, is a testament to the government’s commitment to revitalizing the nation’s health care system.

“This prestigious programme is an opportunity to equip emerging professionals with the skills and motivation needed to drive transformative change and innovation in our health sector,” Pate stated.
