This initiative aims to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance the transportation of goods and services within the state.

During the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of township roads in Lapai Local Government Area, Governor Bago emphasized his commitment to the transformation of Niger State. He expressed gratitude for the recent support granted by the FIRS/NNPC through a tax credit scheme for ongoing road projects.

Governor Bago also outlined additional plans for infrastructure development, including the renovation of Lapai General Hospital and the revival of the waterworks project initiated by the late former Governor Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure. Moreover, he encouraged the adoption of mechanized agriculture among residents, promising government support for agricultural initiatives.

In Agaie Local Government, where he inaugurated township road projects, Governor Bago assured residents of forthcoming road constructions, including the route leading to Baro Port. He pledged to renovate and equip Agaie General Hospital while enhancing the local market to stimulate socio-economic activities.

The Chairman of Lapai Local Government, Mohammed Musa Kirikpo, and his counterpart from Agaie, Alhaji Ibrahim Sayuti Aliyu, commended Governor Bago for extending development projects to rural areas, affirming the positive impact on local communities.
