2024 Graduate Engineers Induction Ceremony at Ibrahim Alfa Auditorium, Kaduna, 400 graduates from the Class of 2024 were inducted into the Nigeria Institute of Engineers.

The Commandant emphasized AFIT’s evolution over the past 40 years from a technical institution to a full-fledged university, offering various accredited engineering programs that meet global standards. Collaborations with stakeholders such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) highlight the institute’s dedication to maintaining high standards in engineering education.

Prof. Sadiq Abubakar, President of COREN, reaffirmed the council’s commitment to ensuring that engineering programs meet international benchmarks, including the Washington and Sydney Accords. This ensures graduates are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in a competitive global environment.

Magret Oguntala, President of NSE, called on the 2024 graduates to serve as ambassadors of AFIT and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in their practice.
