Group Set For Official Unveiling Of “DANCO Movement 2024”

A socio-political group known as DANCO Movement working tirelessly for the aspirations of the governorship ambition of Anamero Dekeri popularly called DANCO is set for Unveiling in the coming weeks.

The group whose membership cut across the 18 Local government of Edo state while agitating for power shift to a vibrant, entrepreneural and resourceful personality who possesses the ability to win election for his party is equally calling on their “patron” (DANCO) to declare interest for the Edo 2024 Governorship race or face legal consequences.

The spokesperson of the group, Comrade Embassy Hussein Momodu while, briefing newsmen during the weekend hilted on the group’s plans for official unveiling to the public and mobilizing support for a man whom they described as “an enigma who makes and fulfil promises, a rare virtue that is uncommon amongst modern politicians in Nigeria.

“DANCO is a promise keeper, his kinds are rare, we need him to govern our state come 2024. Interestingly, majority of our members are volunteers who have voters cards but they are not card carrying members APC. Their natural love and confidence in the struggle for DANCO Movement 2024 is borne out of the unrelenting vigour and resilience due to his anticedents as a philanthropist and an uncommon politician of modern Edo state.

“In the build up to the 2023 general elections, DANCO shocked Afemai people when he announced plans to make 32 people millionaires across 32 political wards in Etsako federal constituency after his election. The promise was fulfilled by DANCO.
He also planned to build Market facility for South Ibie in Etsako West. DANCO fulfilled the promise. He planned to build Industrial Borehole with massive cubic capacity for Imionor village in Etsako East. DANCO fulfilled the promise.

“Aside these numerous philanthropic works which DANCO has embarked on recently, he has been engaged in several distribution of transformers to communities, building of road networks, donation of blocks of classrooms, medical outreach for the treatment of cancer patients. Others are annual distribution of Exercise Books to students, payment of Bursary to undergraduate students and other unpublicized humanitarian gestures courtesy of DANCO.

“If we give opportunity to a man like DANCO who understands the pains of commoners, Edo people will have a new breath once again. We call on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC to place value on capacity of individuals not mere sentiments in selecting the next governor of Edo.
