‘How Did I Get So Lucky?’ – Ini Edo Ecstatic As She Announces Engagement, Prepares For Dream Wedding

Popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has revealed she is engaged and gearing up for a dream wedding.

Ireporteronline reports that the actress shared the exciting news with her fans via her Instagram account, @iniedo, on Sunday.

In her heartfelt post, Ini reflected on how meeting her fiancé during a vacation changed her life. She wrote: “That bright Sunday morning six months ago, while on vacation, we crossed paths, and our lives never remained the same.

“Exactly three months later you asked me to be with you forever. How did I get so lucky?”

The actress expressed her joy and belief in love, adding, “They say, ‘your flaws are perfect for the heart that is meant to love you’ I now believe this wholeheartedly.

“1 of 3 done. My fairytale wedding is almost here.”

Ending on an inspiring note, she encouraged those still searching for love: “To anyone out there who has given up on their happily ever after, Love will find you, and when it does, ready or not, it’ll be the best thing that ever happened to you.”

Ireporteronline recalls that the mother of one tied the knot to Edo businessman, Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but the marriage hit the rocks in 2014.

In a candid interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa last December, Ini opened up about her relationship desires, saying she longed for a partner who would love and respect her.

She added that she wants a man who would earn her respect and show her kindness.

Ini Edo said, “I am single because i just want somebody that will really love me. I can’t be in a toxic relationship if you can’t give me that protective energy that allows me to respect you. I cannot be with a man that I don’t respect.“
