Tukur-Idris explained that the ambulance was initially part of a health clinic project initiated by former Yabo/Shagari Federal Constituency representative, Abubakar Danbukari, but was found during the ICPC tracking exercise at the lawmaker’s residence.

ā€œAll necessary investigations have been completed. The vehicle and its accessories have been securely stored at the commission’s office,ā€ Tukur-Idris stated, adding that it has now been handed over to the community for public use.

In related news, Tukur-Idris urged local council members, healthcare workers, and community residents to ensure the responsible utilization of the vehicle, promising ongoing ICPC support. He noted that the Constituency and Executive Project Tracking Initiative (CEPTI) has saved Nigeria hundreds of millions of naira by recovering incomplete projects, which often leave communities vulnerable to security risks.

He further emphasized the critical role of the private sector and civil society organizations in monitoring project implementations, stating that completed constituency projects provide essential democratic benefits for grassroots development.
