Mrs. Adenike Oriowo, the Public Affairs Officer for INEC in Lagos State, informed the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday that the notice had been prominently displayed on Thursday at the commission’s headquarters in Sabo-Yaba for public perusal.

Additionally, the notice has been affixed at the Surulere Local Government Area Office of the commission.

Oriowo highlighted that according to Section 28 (3) of the Electoral Act 2022, this publication is mandated to be accomplished no later than 14 days before the election.

She emphasized that INEC has initiated the implementation of activities and a timetable for the upcoming elections. The spokesperson assured that INEC’s preparations are in full swing to guarantee strict adherence to pertinent laws and guidelines for the poll.
