It Is A Pen War: APC Chairmanship Aspirants Use Propaganda As Leverage Amidst Integrity Test, Akume Out…

The penis on its own has no CONSCIENCE but again the PENIS ought to be controlled by a man with a brain.

As we gradually march towards the 2023 general elections it is unmistakable that the game would be played with a high level of propaganda from all contending camps.

Looking carefully at the APC forthcoming convention which happens to be the “litmus test” preceding the general elections then it is clear that morality and conscience would play a distant role in the electoral process.

The congress which has suffered a series of postponements with uncertainty still hovering around its eventuality has proved to a lot of political pundits that politicking is the main strategy for every electoral contest.

Major contenders for the APC top seat have deployed THE BIG LIE as a means to gain an undue advantage over other aspirants.

The strategy is to bump into the race with a crash program that gives them maximum publicity with the “FOLLOW FOLLOW SYNDROME”.

A few weeks ago the media was abuzz with a zoning formula that promoted the North-East comprising of  Adamawa, Taraba, Yobe, Borno, Bauchi and Gombe producing the next  National Chairman.

These promotions are carefully done and penned down to assume it was issued out from the office of the caretaker planning committee of the APC, they took their plans to detail.

News from the grapevine has it in good authority that the particular STUNT was authored by the Camp of Senator Modu Sheriff.

Not done, a few days ago the headlines were abuzz again with Buhari endorsing 75-Year-Old Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the next national chairman of the APC.

The meal which was carefully dished by Daily Trust was an orchestrated attempt to position the former Nasarawa State Governor as the top man for the “TOP JOB”.

Funny enough the camp of Senator Al-Makura has since kicked against the media hype accusing Adamu of crashing into the game with a view to kick out every other competitor that has been transversing the federation seeking support long before now.

You see the idea of these whole hypes is to get the BANDWAGON effect in politics.

Lol, the BANDWAGON effect in Nigerian politics is the FOLLOW FOLLOW SYNDROME similar to the Zombie movements.

This is how the zombie movements works, followers are at the command of their political leaders and the funny scenario is that there is little accessibility by the followers (Zombies) to these leaders to confirm the authenticity of the GIST.

So whatever goes around as the popular decision of the leaders’ STICK.

So if the information flys out that Buhari has endorsed a particular candidate party adherents would just take it as BUSINESS as usual, “LEADER DON TALK”. And there is really no one to confirm the veracity of the BOGUS CLAIMS.

Suddenly Adamu who was never seen to be a rival is now listed amongst major competitors which definitely puts him in the spotlight. Thankfully the Presidency has debunked the FAKE STORY.

A good strategy I must say but like earlier stated “A standing PENIS has NO CONSCIENCE, but at the same time, the PENIS ought to be controlled by a man with a brain.”

The APC is currently facing an integrity test with the majority of its aspirants having unfinished business with the Anti-Graft agencies running into billions of naira.

The deliberate attempt to draw undeserved attention to their campaign organisations while downplaying the integrity test around their candidacy is the major KOKO.

Aside from the show of shame between the political camps of Al Makura and Abdullahi Adamu, the former Nasarawa State Governor, Senator Adamu is also seen as a usurper who is a strong advocate of power retained in the North against the party’s agreement on power rotation.

Nigerians, on the other hand, are looking forward to how the APC clears its integrity huddle which according to the electorates would better explain and demonstrate their readiness for the 2023 general elections.

Meanwhile, the current signing of the amended electoral act may have put the candidacy of Senator George Akume in jeopardy.

Clause 84 stipulates that anyone holding a political office – ministers, commissioners, special advisers and others – must relinquish the position before they can be eligible to participate in the electoral process either as a candidate or as a delegate.

So will the minister of special duties and inter-governmental affairs, Senator George Akume relinquish his position to continue his bid for the top job?

It is actually a pen war, let us just hope and pray the flood of propaganda that heralds the coming general elections does not overwhelm us all.
