JAMB Drops Fresh Batch Of 2026 UTME Results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released another batch of results for candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), covering those who sat for the exam on Friday and Saturday.
According to a statement issued on Sunday and signed by Fabian Benjamin, the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, a total of 1,264,940 results from the two examination days have been made available for candidates to access.
The Board had earlier released 632,752 results for candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, 16 April 2026, bringing the cumulative total of released results so far to 1,897,692.
The statement advised candidates to check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number (SIM) used during registration for the 2026 UTME.
Benjamin further noted that candidates had previously been informed to prepare for the release, stating that results would be made available shortly after completion of processing.
Earlier, he had urged candidates via social media platform X to stay emotionally and mentally prepared, announcing that the results for those who sat the examination on Friday and Saturday would be released within hours.
