Jasmine took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute in memory of her father. She reflected on their cherished moments together, presenting a touching montage that encapsulated their laughter-filled interactions. Included was a poignant clip of Mr. Ibu singing her praises from his sickbed.

In the wake of allegations regarding misappropriation of funds earmarked for the actor’s medical expenses, Jasmine expressed her disappointment, lamenting that her efforts to support Mr. Ibu seemed to yield only negative outcomes.

Regrettably, with the sudden passing of Mr. Ibu, Jasmine expressed that the chance for him to address the matter has been irreversibly lost, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their tumultuous relationship.

In her message, she wrote:

“Goodnight, Papa! Your love and laughter will always be cherished, and I thank God for being able to reciprocate that love until the very end. Despite the negativity surrounding us, every act of kindness I showed was twisted into malice. You always assured me that when the time came for you to speak, the world would listen, giving me the courage to persevere. Now I’m heartbroken because that day will never come. Perhaps the tales will never cease, maybe the torment will persist, but I’m grateful for the glimmer of hope you instilled in me, even in your darkest moments. Despite all the accusations, you never belittled me; you valued me until your final breath.”

Jasmine continued to express her grief over the struggles Mr. Ibu endured and his fight for survival until his passing.

She further wrote:

“The agony you endured in your last days, you faced with a smile. I mourn not your death but the suffering you endured. Through over 15 surgeries, you proved to be a true warrior! You battled death numerous times until it ultimately overcame you.

“I pray you find genuine happiness, peace, and eternal rest in God’s embrace! May God chuckle at your jokes, and may angels revel in every conversation with you. I’ve lost a hero, but Heaven has gained an angel. Farewell, Papa!!!”
