JUST IN: Popular Senator, Hundred Others Dump APC For PDP (Photo)

Barely a few hours after Senator Adamu Aleiru, a senator representing Kebbi central withdrew from the senatorial contest he formally joined the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State.

Abdullahi Zuru, his media aide who confirmed the development to Vanguard via telephone said “yes is true Alieru has joined PDP but I am in a meeting I will go out and call you.

Earlier the former minister of the Federal Capital Territory had sent a letter to the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) informing him that he has withdrawn from APC Senate primaries in Kebbi.

Alieru alleged that Governor Bagudu has changed the real delegates and replaced them with fictitious ones hence his reason to pull out of the contest describing it as shambolic and fraudulent.

Meanwhile, names have not been mentioned but he left with his team supporters and members of his camp.

Consequently, all his boys have withdrawn from all elective posts and including primaries in Kebbi APC.
