The National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, quoted Abure as saying that democracy can only thrive when the people’s votes are respected and counted.
The party alleged irregularities such as late arrival of electoral officers and insufficient ballot papers at polling units.
It called for a fresh and credible election and suggested that State Independent Electoral Commissions be abolished in favor of the Independent National Electoral Commission
