Late Alaafin’s Son, Abdulfatai, Is Dead
Prince Abdulfatai Adeyemi, also known as D-Gov and the son of the late Alaafin of Oyo, has passed away at the age of 47, a day before his birthday.
The Oyo prince succumbed to complications related to diabetes, following a period of illness. In 2019, he contested for the Oyo Federal Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party but was unsuccessful.

He had previously served as the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pension Board during Governor Seyi Makinde’s first term.
His untimely demise is a loss to his family and the community.
