LG Chairman Dies In Kebbi
The Kebbi State Government has conveyed the sudden passing of Muhammad Bello, the chairman of Maiyama Local Government Area of the state, following an extended illness.
Ahmed Idris, the spokesperson for the state governor, issued a statement to the press on Thursday, announcing the demise.

According to the statement, the deceased passed away early in the morning, and his burial is scheduled for later in the day.
The statement reads, “Regrettably, with a heavy heart, I announce the death of Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello, Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government. He died early this morning at UDUTH Sokoto after a protracted illness.”
Details about the timing of the burial will be communicated to the public.
