the operation led to the neutralization of four criminal suspects and the arrest of five others.

Dubbed “Operation Udoka,” the raid targeted the Ezioha and Eziama Autonomous Communities in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area, notorious for violent attacks and kidnappings. The operation also resulted in the seizure of firearms, explosives, and other incriminating materials.

In a statement, Police spokesperson Henry Okoye confirmed the operation’s success and attributed it to the collaboration among security agencies. He emphasized the importance of public cooperation to bolster efforts in maintaining peace, particularly as the holiday season approaches.

The assessment of the operation involved top security figures, including Commissioner of Police Aboki Danjuma, Brigadier General U.A. Lawal of the 34 Artillery Brigade, and other senior commanders. Commissioner Danjuma urged citizens to share intelligence to strengthen the fight against crime in the state.
