Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended a 30-year-old man, Idi Adamu, for the alleged sexual assault of his one-year-old stepdaughter. According to a statement released on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Ngurore, the incident occurred in Wuro Ardo, located in Mubi North Local Government Area, where the suspect resides.
The swift action taken by the Adamawa State Police underscores their commitment to ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable members of society. Further investigations into the matter are expected to be carried out to bring the perpetrator to justice and prevent such heinous acts from recurring in the future.
