MFM’s Olukoya Reveals Clerics Who Disgraced Christianity With Election Prophecies
The founder and general overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), Daniel Olukoya, delivered a stern rebuke to his fellow religious leaders who made inaccurate prophecies regarding the outcomes of the 2023 general elections.
Speaking to his congregation on Sunday morning at the church’s headquarters in Lagos, Mr. Olukoya criticized his colleagues who engaged in extensive political forecasting, a practice that garnered significant attention within religious circles in the lead-up to the elections.
Mr. Olukoya pointed out that many of these predictions, presented as prophecies, turned out to be incorrect. He emphasized that those who initially attributed these false prophecies to God were not in a sound state of mind.
“God said, God said… yet you did not hear anything from God, it is madness.
“You see what happened in Nigeria during this last election that disgraced Christianity very well. This prophet will say this will win, this will not win… All were wrong. They call themselves prophets. Prophets of where? It is madness when you begin to say what God does not ask you to say,” he said.
