MODAH MOURNS CHIEF DAN ORBIH: A PROFOUND AND INSPIRATIONAL LEADER

I received with a deeply burdened heart the painful news of the passing of Chief Daniel Osi Orbih—a profound leader, an inspirational political figure and a courageous voice whose impact transcended partisan boundaries.

Chief Dan Orbih was not merely a participant in politics; he was a formidable institution. He possessed uncommon courage, remarkable organisational ability and an unwavering commitment to his convictions. His commanding presence, political sagacity and capacity to inspire others earned him an enduring place in the history of Edo State and the Niger Delta.

Edo North has lost one of its most influential sons. Edo State has lost a towering political leader, and the entire Niger Delta has lost a powerful voice whose contributions will not be forgotten.

My heartfelt condolences go to his wife, children, the entire Orbih family, the people of Ogbona and his numerous friends, associates and followers across Nigeria.

Chief Dan Orbih will be profoundly missed, but his remarkable legacy will continue to speak for generations.

May God grant his soul eternal rest and give everyone affected by this monumental loss the strength to bear his passing.
