NANS Calls For Probe Into NSUK Students’ Death During Palliative Distribution

In a statement issued by the Universal President, Comrade Lucky Emonefe, on Saturday, NANS called for a thorough investigation into the unfortunate incident, urging accountability for those responsible for mishandling the distribution of the palliatives.

The statement emphasized the importance of adopting modern distribution methods by governments and individuals involved in relief materials distribution to prevent loss of life. It stressed that the safety and well-being of students and citizens should always be the top priority.

NANS also urged the university management to provide support and counseling services to the affected students, emphasizing the need for them to receive necessary care and assistance during this difficult period.

The association called for collective learning from the tragic event and emphasized the importance of taking proactive measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
