NANS Urges Long-Term Solutions To Borno Flooding Crisis
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called on the Federal Government to develop long-term solutions to the severe flooding crisis in Maiduguri, Borno State.
In a statement, NANS President Afeez Akinteye extended condolences to those affected, including students of Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture.
The association emphasized the urgent need for immediate aid, including temporary shelters, food, and medical care, while also advocating for a comprehensive plan to support displaced students and restore their educational pursuits.
NANS urged collaboration between government agencies and humanitarian organizations to address both immediate and long-term needs.
