NDLEA Apprehends Man Trying To Export 4,000 Tramadol Pills To Italy
On April 26th, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) stationed at the gate C departure hall of Lagos airport apprehended a passenger, Yahaya Danjuma Oturah, attempting to export 4,000 pills of tramadol 225mg to Malpensa, Italy, via an Ethiopian Airline flight……READ ALSO NDLEA Arrests Three Cartel Members In Historic Heroin Bust
According to a statement by the agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, the psychoactive substance was discovered concealed within women’s clothing and granulated melon packed in the suspect’s backpack, along with another bag containing food items.
Babafemi stated that Oturah, a frequent flyer, confessed to being hired as a courier for the drugs, receiving 700 Euros upon successful delivery of the consignment in Italy.
