Nigerian Solidarity Movement Credits Economic Stability To Tinubu’s Leadership

Obulu emphasized the group’s desire to see Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda extended to grassroots levels for the benefit of all citizens. Describing the administration’s decisions as bold and courageous, Obulu praised the Tinubu administration for revisiting policies to prevent bankruptcy. The movement highlighted initiatives such as the removal of fuel subsidies, forex market reforms, and the student loan scheme, which aim to support underprivileged students in accessing quality education.

Additionally, the group applauded the administration for initiatives like the one million nano business owners program, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, and the completion of the Aba-Port Harcourt railway line. The movement discouraged opposition groups from inciting protests and advised the government to take action against hoarding to prevent inflation. Furthermore, the group supported the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Muhammed Matawale’s statement regarding the Northern Elders Forum’s lack of authority to represent the entire region, labeling them as a political burden to northerners. Obulu emphasized that the NEF lacks a department monitoring the administration’s progress and accused them of seeking power for power’s sake.

He urged citizens to support the government and emphasized caution in Organized Labour’s demand for a minimum wage of N615,000, warning it could lead to hyperinflation and turn Nigeria into a banana republic.
