Nigerians React Popular Comedian Bovi Disappointment After 7 AMVCA Nominations (Details)

Renowned Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, expressed his disappointment at never winning an Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) despite being nominated seven times throughout his career. The comedian shared his feelings following the just-concluded AMVCA10 held on Saturday, May 11 at Eko Hotels.

Taking to his Instagram page, Bovi lamented the absence of any AMVCA trophies on his shelf. He disclosed that out of his seven nominations since the inception of his career, four were individual nominations. Despite his hopeful expectation of winning at least ten awards by now, he congratulated all the winners from the AMVCA10 event.

Bovi wrote: “#amvca10 All my nominations since inception -7 Individual nominations- 4 Wins- 0 Expected wins before #amvca20 – 10 Congrats to all the winners from last night. Very deserving.
