It seems the President knows how to give his critics a taste of their own medicine from a distance, and his calculated responses to their fabrications are so masterful that one can’t help but wonder if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will soon become a subject of study in our institutions of higher learning.

These are the same individuals who created a brouhaha about a purported missing certificate, making it appear as if Tinubu was on the brink of legal trouble, accused of certificate forgery or identity theft – a truly amusing lot of people.

Now, the rumor mill churned out a fake story that the President was unwell and about to be whisked off to France for medical treatment. The way this news was sensationalized made it seem as if the sky was falling. Social media has a way of dragging you into the abyss of misinformation, and while you’re stuck there, the world moves on without you.

However, today, Tinubu once again set the internet abuzz when he casually strolled to his office. This came after he brilliantly chaired the Federal Executive Council meeting yesterday.

What truly amuses me about the opposition is how they’re wired to believe anything they hear, no matter how absurd. In such moments, laughing at their gullibility is truly entertaining.
