Osun Election: Moses Omo-Ikirodah Congratulates Adeleke, PDP

Engr Moses Omo-Ikirodah, the PDP House of Representatives candidate for Etsako Federal Constituency, has congratulated the people of Osun State, the Governor-elect H.E Ademola Adeleke, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Saturday’s victory at Osun Gubernatorial election.

Adeleke of the PDP won the governorship election in Osun with 403,371 votes, defeating his main opponent, incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC, who received 375,027 votes.

According to the Edo State politician, the victory foreshadowed how Nigerians would vote for the PDP in the upcoming general elections in 2023. According to Moses Omo-Ikirodah, it is a victory of light over darkness, development over underdevelopment, and the people have come out to rightfully take back what rightly belongs to them.

“I cordially congratulate the people of Osun State who today demonstrated that only God bestows power on those he chooses. This is an instance of light triumphing over darkness, and the people have justly reclaimed what is rightfully theirs. My congratulations to HE Hon. Ademola Adeleke for his gallant efforts in making history today, I would also like to express my congratulations and gratitude to the PDP for providing the necessary platform for this victory.

The people of Osun have spoken with one voice, and this gives us a hint as to how Nigerians will vote for the PDP in the upcoming general elections in 2023. Nigerians will turn out in large numbers to support development over underdevelopment and compassion over insensitivity.

Today’s victory demonstrates that the unrestricted expression of the popular will of the people is a fundamental characteristic of democratic theory and practice. It’s a victory worth celebrating.
