During the RCCG’s monthly Holy Ghost Service program, themed ‘From The Mountain Top 2,’ Pastor Adeboye fervently prayed for divine intervention, asserting that those disrupting the peace of the nation’s monarchs would face dire consequences.

“The fire of God will consume all those trying to mess around with our traditional rulers. Because as far as God is concerned, traditional rulers are anointed,” declared Pastor Adeboye, who annually organizes conventions for royal fathers in the country.

The recent wave of brutal killings has seen three traditional rulers murdered within four days, exacerbating the prevailing insecurity in the nation. Oba Olatunde Olusola and Oba David Ogunsola were killed on Monday in Ekiti State, and General Segun Aremu (retd), the Olukoro of Koro, was shot dead in Kwara State on Thursday.

This alarming trend has sparked concerns and prompted heightened security measures, with police deploying helicopters and armored carriers to Ekiti. The Nigerian people are now demanding swift justice and an end to the disturbing trend of targeted attacks on traditional rulers.
