Pathologist Tells Coroner Inquest: Mohbad’s Cause Of Death Uncertain

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, present at the court for the inquest on May 15, informed reporters that the pathologist revealed that due to decomposition, the cause of death couldn’t be established at the time of examination. Shittu explained, “According to him, the cause of death cannot be determined… it is not possible for them to determine the cause of death.”

Further elaborating, Shittu mentioned that the pathologist suggested a possible link between the administration of certain drugs and the death, although it remains uncertain. Additionally, details about the late singer’s disagreements with his wife, Wunmi, and Sam Larry were presented in court by a witness.

Mohbad, aged 27, passed away in controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day in Ikorodu. His body was later exhumed on September 21 for autopsy, seeking clarity on the cause of his demise.
