According to Ireporter Online, Kajere stated in his resignation letter that the decision was influenced by personal convictions and considerations for his political future. He noted that the unresolved internal crisis within the PDP at the national level played a significant role in his choice to step down. “I believe it is in my best interest to step aside from the party at this time in view of the unresolved internal crisis of the party at the national level,” he explained.
