Mustapha Sadauki Clinches Victory

Mustapha Sadauki of the PDP secured the win after meeting all legal requirements and obtaining the highest number of votes, officially declared as the elected representative for the Shinkafi State Assembly Constituency.

Defeating the Opposition

Sadauki faced tough competition from Usman Shinkafi of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ultimately prevailing with a lead of 32 votes in both the first and rerun elections.

Prof. Rufus provided the following statistics for the electoral process:

• Total registered voters across nine polling units in five wards: 6,651
• Accredited voters for the rerun election: 5,457

Cumulative results for the first and rerun elections:

• Registered voters: 95,646
• Accredited voters: 29,184
• Votes cast: 28,873
• Valid votes: 28,262
• Rejected votes: 611

With 13,540 votes secured by the PDP candidate and 13,508 for the APC candidate, Mustapha Sadauki emerged victorious by a margin of 32 votes.
