Police Arrest Officers Seen Assaulting Man In Viral Video

The police officers involved in the assault of an unidentified man in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have been arrested.

“These men have been arrested, and their commander will personally bring to the Force Headquarters for further actions,” Adejobi tweeted on Tuesday.

“They are three in number, attached to RRS, Rivers State. Their action does not portray the police in a good light at all.”

In a viral video shared on social media, a police officer was seen beating and slapping a man in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Adejobi condemned the action and promised that the officers would be arrested, saying their actions did not represent the Nigerian police.

According to a police spokesman, the assault on the man was shocking, barbaric, and unbecoming for a police officer.
