Popular APC Stalwart Joins PDP (Photo)

As the road to 2023 gathers momentum, an All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart in Ogun State, Otunba Jimi Adebisi Lawal has dumped the party and declared for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

According to its Ado-Odo/ Ota Local Government coordinator of his Campaign Organization, Alhaji Idowu Sikiru said Otunba Jimi Lawal has finally joined the Ogun State PDP and his declaration of interest will be made known this week in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

“Otunba Lawal, who has been in politics for decades also an ally of the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has now decided to pitch a tent with the party.

“Thousands of Jimi’s Supporters across Ogun State will witness the declaration ceremony. Otunba Lawal who has now found a new solace in PDP will contest for the party’s governorship primary in April.

Those expected are Sango Ward coordinators, Mr. Emmanuel Dele, his Deputy, Saheed Sabitu and Youth Leader, Moruf and party supporters.
