Popular Preacher Apologises For Rubbing Spit On Member’s Face

Pastor Mike Todd of the Transformation Church in Tulsa Oklahoma, US has apologised for rubbing spit on the face of one of his church members to depict the miracle of Jesus opening the eyes of a blind man.

In his apology video, he said, “I watched it back and it was disgusting. That was gross. I want to validate everyone’s feelings, that was a distraction to what I was really doing. I was trying to make the Word come alive for people to see, but on Sunday, it got to life…I crossed the line.”

The caption of the apology video said, “It’s never my intention to distract others from God’s Word and the message of Jesus… even with illustrations! I apologise for my example being too extreme and disgusting!”
