Portable Pledges New Path After ₦2 Million Bail – ‘I’m Done With Trouble

Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has pledged to refrain from engaging in any further turmoil. The Ogun State Police had charged Portable for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA)—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—while they were conducting an enforcement operation in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, Ogun State.

After pleading not guilty to five charges including conspiracy, assault, illegal possession of weapons, and behaving in an unruly manner, Portable was granted bail. In a post on his Instagram after the court session, the singer vowed to leave behind his troublemaking ways and concentrate on generating wealth.

He shared, “My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have ₦2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money.”
