Light Must Prevail: Practical Ways Peter Obi Supporters Must Maintain The Flame By Smart Omo-Idemudia
CERTAINLY, a third force has developed, and for the first time in our electoral process’s history, the youths, the women, and the elderly are actively engaged in the process of honestly seeking the best for our country as we approach the 2023 general elections.
If Peter Obi wins this election, it will be a clear indication that anything is possible in Nigeria and that Nigerians will finally be freed from the clutches of the villains who have held us captive for so long.
Nigerians, we can do it if we reject tribal and religious emotions in favour of voting for competence. If this country works, everyone benefits, including our children and their children. Everyone understands that Atiku and Tinubu will not be coming to fix the country. For the sake of the future, let us put an end to the hypocrisy.
Each of us must join Peter Obi in his redemptive plan to rid Nigeria of the parasites that eat fat on our common patrimony.
The Bible in Timothy 1:6 says; “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.”
In fact, we Obedient family should not rely on others to FAN our FLAMES; we must not wait for Labour Party members or officials to fan our flames; it is our active responsibility to ginger ourselves towards this national sacrifice.
Here are some practical methods to keep the fire burning in our drive to leave Nigerians with the kind of governance they desire.
Be patient and faithful:
Yes, because we may not see instant results, the task ahead might be unpleasant and disappointing. It is difficult to persuade people to abandon the old parties to which they have long belonged. We must approach this effort as if it were an evangelism, and we will need the virtues of an evangelist to persevere.
Develop relationships:
We must develop the ability to approach people outside of our comfort zone and gain their confidence. No matter which party they are affiliated with, we need to build relationships with the unsure and disenchanted Nigerians.
Spice up the campaign:
Creativity is the process of turning your ideas, imagination, and dreams into reality. It is a skill that allows you to find new views in order to develop new possibilities and solutions to various obstacles.
The Right and Left sides of your brain must both be used, which includes employing the analytical and logical parts of your brain as well, in order to get the most out of creativity.
Edo State is leading the charge to sell Peter Obi to the world, and their ingenuity is unparalleled. We must broaden our perspectives and put our thinking caps on numerous ways to promote Peter Obi’s credentials.
Refrain from insults:
Because some people are born into a political ideology, like some people are into religion, we should be tolerant of other people’s choices and stop from constantly criticizing them. Instead, we should be open-minded to other people’s viewpoints.
Come to think of it, we need everyone in this course because it is a collective dream; a better Nigeria is for the benefit of all of us; we must refrain from insulting others because of their political choices; with time, they will see it from your perspective; respect their choice because they may adopt your choice tomorrow.
Patience:
Cursing an indecisive voter because he is careless or unwilling to vote will not help our cause, therefore please be patient with them. Talks like ” Na God go punish your generation because you don’t want to make Nigeria better” are unnecessary.
Are you aware that if undecided voters vote for Peter Obi, he will win with 60 percent of the votes even if all regular voters vote for the other parties?
Remember that your character represents Peter Obi, so be polite and accommodating to opposing viewpoints.
Labour Party is the vehicle:
If we are to be honest with ourselves, we must admit that the Labour Party lacks a structure and is unpopular. The Labour Party logo, rather than Peter Obi’s face, will appear on the ballot. Therefore, from today, you must include the Labour Party’s logo beside Peter Obi’s picture.
Pray unceasingly:
Finally this is a spiritual and physical battle , as we commit ourselves into rescuing Nigeria we must commit the project into the hands of God as well.
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
We must never stop to commit this project into God’s hands.
Light must prevail over darkness, Peter Obi is the way to a better and more secured Nigeria.
