The latest attack reportedly took place in Aba Oyinbo, Akure North, on Wednesday morning. In a dramatic act of protest, demonstrators brought the bodies of the slain farmers to the governor’s office, demanding justice and urgent action from the state government.

The unrest extended to the Akure-Owo highway at Ogbese, where angry protesters blocked the road, leaving motorists stranded.

This incident follows a series of violent attacks in Ondo, with multiple fatalities recorded earlier this month during reprisal attacks on four communities in Akure North Local Government Area.
