The attention of the campaign organization of a Frontline Aspirant vying to represent the good people of Orhionmwon South at the Edo State House of Assembly Amb. Terry Igiebor have been drawn to a libellous post published online by one Mr. Newton Onyemelife accusing two distinguished leaders of Orhionmwon who have contributed meaningfully to the development of our dear Local Government of selling Orhionmwon South House of Assembly Ticket to our Principal AMB. TERRY IGIEBOR.

While we know the sponsor of such misguiding statements, including one of the persons mentioned in the damaging post and also do not really wish to join words antagonistically with his co-contestants, this rebuttal is very necessary to protect the Image of our Frontline House of Assembly Aspirant and what he stands for as well as to defend our indefatigable leaders whose character have been defamed.

To set the records as crystal as possible, Our Leaders Rt. Hon Patrick Aisoweren and Pst. Dr Osagie Ize-Iyamu are very progressively minded individuals whose interest is the development of Orhionmwon Local Government and would never mortgage the interest of our people for anything or any amount.

The promise made by friends and well-wishers of AMB. TERRY IGIEBOR to support his election if given the party’s ticket was not to in any way to cajole our party leaders who are men of very high morals and financial capacity.

We, therefore, want to use this medium to call the publishers of the post to order and ask them to take urgent steps to withdraw the post, apologize to our party leaders and Orhionmwon people as posts of this nature can carry legal implications.

Finally to state that the aspiration of AMB TERRY IGIEBOR is pro-development and pro empowerment that will culminate ultimately to a better Orhionmwon South for our children, the youths, the women and the elderly, therefore if he is found worthy to be nominated by the party then all Glory be to God.
