Sad News As Missing 16-Month-Old Baby Found Dead, Vital Organs Removed

Tragedy struck when the lifeless body of 16-month-old Muhammad Zain Abidin, previously reported missing, was discovered with several of his organs missing.

The toddler had gone missing while his mother was taking an exam at the Green Heritage College of Education in Games Village, Bauchi. The grieving mother, Saudatu Abdullahi, revealed in an interview with the local media outlet Labari da ga Bauchi that her child’s body was found without his eyes, nose, and mouth.

After an exhaustive eight-day search, the lifeless remains of the child were found within the college premises, submerged in a sewage area.

Recounting the heart-wrenching incident, the mother stated, “I attend NCE classes at Games Village here in Bauchi. On the day of the incident, which was Saturday, August 19, I went to school along with Abidin, as usual. I was in the middle of writing a test when he left the class.”

Saudatu recounted how the child had previously left the classroom to play and then returned, but on this occasion, he disappeared without her knowledge. Despite her frantic search and involving the authorities, the young boy remained missing until his lifeless body was tragically discovered the following Sunday.

In response to this appalling act, Governor Bala Mohammed has swiftly ordered the immediate closure of the school. During a condolence visit to the family of the deceased child, the governor expressed his shock and condemned the heinous murder. He emphasized that the school would remain shut until a thorough investigation was completed.

Governor Mohammed made it clear that while private schools were appreciated, the loss of life in their environment would not be tolerated. He called on parents to exercise increased vigilance and urged for collective efforts to eradicate such reprehensible acts from society.

“It is disheartening that someone would just pick up this young boy and remove parts of his body. We will not tolerate this,” he affirmed, determined to bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent such incidents in the future.
