Security officials at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, have apprehended three unruly passengers aboard an Air Peace flight from London.

The incident began when two passengers, identified as Adedigba and Ashibogu, who were originally seated in Economy Class, unlawfully occupied Business Class seats. Despite multiple warnings from the crew, they refused to return to their assigned seats.

In defiance of airline regulations, the individuals also consumed a bottle of rum they had brought onboard. A third passenger, Iwonze, joined them in drinking and displayed further disorderly conduct, escalating security concerns.

The captain was forced to leave the cockpit to assess the situation before resuming control. Recognizing the potential threat, the flight crew alerted security authorities ahead of landing. Upon arrival in Lagos, law enforcement agents swiftly took the disruptive passengers into custody for further investigation.

Air Peace reaffirmed its commitment to safety and compliance with global aviation standards, warning that such behavior would not be tolerated. The airline commended its crew for their professionalism in handling the situation.

Authorities are currently investigating the matter, with possible legal action pending.
