Shettima Jets Out Of Abuja For Major AU Summit In Angola
Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Abuja for Luanda, Angola, to represent President Bola Tinubu at the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
According to Ireporter Online, Shettima’s official trip is focused on Nigeria’s participation in high-level discussions involving issues of continental importance at the African Union summit.
The Vice President is expected to convey the position of the Tinubu administration during the meeting and engage with other African leaders on matters concerning the continent.
His participation underscores Nigeria’s continued involvement in African Union affairs and its role in discussions aimed at advancing cooperation among member states.
Shettima is expected to return to Nigeria after completing his official engagements in Angola.
