Shettima’s Groundbreaking Visit: A Strong Endorsement Of Gov. Sule’s Development And Agricultural Agenda

Vice President Kashim Shettima has commended Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule for his remarkable leadership during a one-day working visit on Friday. Shettima, who was warmly welcomed by Governor Sule, Deputy Governor Emmanuel Akabe, and other senior officials, praised the Governor’s efforts in fostering peace and driving agricultural development in the region.

During his visit, Shettima laid the foundation for the World Bank-funded State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) project, which will include a one-stop investment center and a multi-door court in Lafia. He also oversaw the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in affected Local Government Areas (LGAs) and presided over the presentation of tractors and Jangwa Paddi rice to 13 LGAs, sourced from the pioneering Nasarawa Rice Farm project.

Shettima expressed admiration for Governor Sule’s leadership, which has enhanced agricultural productivity and promoted peaceful coexistence among the state’s diverse communities.

The Vice President concluded his visit with a courtesy call at the palace of the Emir of Lafia, His Royal Highness, Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed I, where he participated in the Juma’at prayers.
