Anambra Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu confirmed there was a gun battle between security operatives and some hoodlums.
He said the security operatives repelled the attack on the police station at Ekwulobia while three of the hoodlums were killed
At Neni, Anaocha local government area, the hoodlums, according to him, ran away because they couldn’t withstand the shooting power of the security operatives
Tochukwu however denied any security operative died in the shout-out but said no arrest had been made to that effect.
